Let's face it...when it comes to our health and reaching some arbitrary number on the scale we fool ourselves into thinking that the real magic lies in finding shortcuts, a magic pill, the perfect opportunity or the perfect time.

NEWS FLASH...You can have all the hacks you want, but if you don't execute the major actions consistently you will get nowhere or quickly return to where you started or worse. Most will use perfectionism as an excuse to not do a thing to improve their health. They will always be waiting for the perfect time, the perfect plan, or some miracle cure.

All diets & programs work AND all diets & programs fail. If there was only one right way to get healthy then so many others would be wrong. 

 

The Whole You Project believes that we should all be doing it differently, afterall we are all different shapes, different sizes, with very different personalities. We walk beside you to get the work done, help you to understand how it works, to provide you with the knowledge, skills, and tools to be self-sufficient so that you never need another coach for the rest of your life!

Most programs teach everyone the same information, the same way.

This is not effective for everyone.

Most programs will immediately throw clients into a major calorie deficit.

The reason they do this is to give you fat loss at all cost and when you gain it back you will blame yourself, come back to them, and pay them more money to get more results. The ultimate goal (and marketing scheme) is to keep you on their program for life, believing it is the only way you can maintain your loss.

 We take the time to understand your unique personality traits and nature.

We strive to understand your tendencies, motivators, strengths, weaknesses, and stress points. Each person consumes and receives information differently. In order to develop the best nutrition plan for you and a plan you will follow it is important to take all of your uniqueness into consideration.

We evaluate your current metabolic state.

A healthy metabolism supplies your body with energy and has a direct impact on your ability to fight infections and moderate inflammation. Staying in a calorie restricted state for too long forces the body to adjust with a slower metabolic rate. Depending on your metabolic state we will begin introducing a variety of diet and lifestyle tips to restore healthy metabolic function. It is not uncommon for a personalized nutrition plan to increase the amount of food consumed in order to see results, curb cravings, reduce over consuming,  and/or overcome plateaus and increase energy.

We teach you how to listen to your body.

Your body will tell you everything you need to know...if you know how to listen to it. Most do not know how to listen to their bodies. In the beginning we do this for you and along the way we teach you how to listen for yourself.
